SelBuk started out as a family-owned business looking for a mobile solution to its business processes.  Despite failed attempts to use and implement systems and solutions available in the marketplace, we realized that there was no single solution to meet a growing business’ IT and mobile needs without breaking the bank.


Thus, in 2008, the founder set out to build a system for himself.  It started out as “Sales Control” –a simple POS application to be used at trade shows.  This application significantly reduced the cycle between sale and delivery thus boosting the sales and invoicing cycles. Clients and peers alike discovered the immense benefits of the simple application.  Soon enough, our simple application was being sold in several continents and the demand for additional features was increasing.

In the years to follow, we continued to work closely with clients.  Effectively and promptly responding to their input and converting their feedback and wishes into must-have features in order to make the sales, inventory and eventually, supply chain processes a more integrated, time and cost-saving exercise.

Privacy Policy

At SelBuk we recognize that your privacy is important. We value your trust and confidence and are firmly committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and visitors to our website. SelBuk is equally committed to protecting the privacy of the information that it gathers. SelBuk vehemently opposes the sale, exchange or rent of current or perspective clients’ private data to other companies for marketing purposes. The following documents describe the privacy practices of SelBuk. Below you can find detailed information on when and why we collect personal information, how we use it and the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others.

We also provide information on how SelBuk handles the information it gathers from visitors to our site www.selbuk.com. In general, you can browse our website without giving us any personal information. We may monitor usage to analyze traffic to our website in order to understand our client's and visitor's needs and to continually improve our site for them. SelBuk collects only anonymous, aggregate statistics. For example, we do not tie a specific visit to a specific visitor. 1. Information We Collect:

  • 1.1. We collect personal information such as your name, title, shipping/billing address, e-mail, phone, and financial information in connection with method of payment such as credit card number when you interact with us to purchase or use our products.
  • 1.2. We collect personal information to deliver or allow access to our solutions and services.
  • 1.3. We may collect and store sensitive information such as information about the company, authorized users, financial information insofar it relates to the financial viability and method of payment for services provided, and other strategic information which will allow SelBuk to recommend and when/if applicable, implement solutions.
  • 1.4. We collect information about your system as it interacts with us such as your IP address and browser information.
  • 1.5. We use common internet technologies, such as cookies and Web beacons to manage our Web sites and services, advertising and e-mail programs.
  • 1.6. We collect user feedback, community discussions, chats and other interactions, such as surveys, at our sites.
  • 1.7. We may obtain additional information about you, such as demographic information, from you or from commercially available sources for our own purposes.


2. Uses

  • 2.1. We do not sell, rent or exchange your personal information to anyone for promotional or marketing purposes.
  • 2.2. We do not share your personal information with anyone outside of SelBuk or its affiliated companies for their promotional or marketing use without your consent.
  • 2.3. We use your personal or financial information to provide you with information and services you request, to give you a customized interactive experience as you use our products and solutions, and to tell you about other solutions, products and services.
  • 2.4. We summarize information about you and we also combine that information with that of others in a way that does not identify you personally to understand how our products are used, to deliver products and services and to help us develop new products and services.
  • 2.5. We may use, partner, work with service or other companies to help provide you products and services but who are not allowed to use your information for their own purposes.


  • 3. Personal Information

    Personal information means any information that may be used to identify you, such as, your name, title, phone number, email address, or mailing address.

    When clients register for use of a SelBuk service, for a trial version of one of our solutions or when clients request additional information about SelBuk and/or one of our solutions, SelBuk may require the client to give us contact information (such as their name and e-mail address), and/or financial information (such as a credit card number). When a client registers for the SelBuk service, this personal information is temporarily stored in encrypted format in a session cookie. SelBuk never stores such information linked to a permanent cookie. This personal and financial information allows SelBuk to process and fulfill your request, register your account, check your qualifications for registration and to bill you for products and services.

    SelBuk may also use personal information you submit to us for other communications such as to request additional information necessary to process or fulfill your order; to determine if you are satisfied with the SelBuk service; to inform you that an upgrade, new services and products are available; or to contact you with information about SelBuk.

    SelBuk may release personal information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to (i) comply with law, (ii) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or (iii) protect the rights, property or safety of SelBuk, our users, or others.

    Like many companies that accept payment by credit card, SelBuk may share clients' personal information with qualified third parties in order to process your order or perform a credit worthiness check.

    With the exception of the limited circumstances discussed above, SelBuk does not provide client personal information to third parties for any purpose.

    SelBuk Limits Access to Your Information

    SelBuk will not access, modify, or otherwise divulge information we compile from you except for the express purpose of generating reports which have been authorized by you or otherwise agreed to by you, or unless acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of SelBuk; (3) enforce our agreements with clients and visitors; or (4) troubleshoot any service problems.

    4. Access to Personal Information Stored by SelBuk

    At any time, a SelBuk client may view its personal information that is stored in the SelBuk database. If necessary, clients may correct this information by visiting their account preferences section. Since SelBuk does not capture personal Visitor Information, a client will never be able to access individual Visitor Information.

    5. Protecting your Information

    We work to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized alteration by using industry-recognized security safeguards, coupled with carefully developed security procedures and practices. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable laws and federal standards. We use both internal and external resources to review our security procedures. Your sensitive information, such as credit card information, is encrypted when it is transmitted to us. Our employees are trained and required to safeguard your information.

    6. Opting Out of Use of Personal Client Information for Communications

    Because communications with our clients are necessary to adequately provide our services, clients cannot opt-out of receiving administrative e-mails related to their accounts. Such e-mail may include confirmation of a registration or purchase, or communication during the sales or support process.

    7. Our Clients' Use of SelBuk Solutions

    SelBuk encourages its clients to abide by all applicable laws, rules and regulations, as we pledge we will do ourselves. If you subscribe to the SelBuk’ Web Store service, SelBuk recommends that each client obtain all necessary consents from visitors to its website(s), post an online privacy policy that provides each visitor with notice of its data collection and use practices (including the client's use of SelBuk), and provide a link to the SelBuk privacy policy. SelBuk shall not be held responsible for its client's use of Visitor Information that is not permitted under this Privacy Policy.

    8. Use of Cookies

    It is SelBuk' policy to use cookies (a small text file that SelBuk stores locally on your computer for record-keeping purposes). The cookie information does not include personal data such as name, age, phone number, e-mail address or mailing address nor does SelBuk link cookies to personal data such as name, age, phone number, e-mail address or mailing address. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, however, you may set your web browser to reject cookies. If you set your browser to reject cookies, you will not be able to use SelBuk.     9. Changes to Our Privacy Policy

    If SelBuk makes any material changes to the way in which it uses personal information, SelBuk will notify you by e-mail.

Terms and Conditions

Service Provision: We agree to provide you with access to our App Lease Service, which includes the use of our proprietary software application(s) on a lease basis.

Lease Cost: The cost for a monthly subscription is $1.99, while a yearly subscription is priced at $19.99. Upon confirmation of purchase, the payment will be charged to your iTunes Account.

Payment Terms: You agree to pay the fees for the App Lease Service as specified in the pricing schedule. Payments are due monthly or annually, as agreed upon. You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings after purchase.

License Grant: We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our software application(s) for the term of this agreement, subject to the terms and conditions herein.

Service Availability: We will use reasonable efforts to ensure the App Lease Service is available at all times, except for: (a) planned downtime, or (b) any unavailability caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of government, floods, fires, earthquakes, civil unrest, acts of terror, strikes or other labor problems, Internet service provider failures or delays.

Data Protection: We will implement reasonable safeguards to protect your data, consistent with prevailing industry standards and laws.

Support: We will provide email based technical support for the App Lease Service

Changes to the Service: We reserve the right to revise our services at any time, with or without notifying you. If we terminate your use of our services because of a revised service, you will not be charged

Auto Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. The cost of the renewal will be identified at this time.

Termination by You: You may terminate the App Lease Service at any time by discontinuing your use of our services and providing us with a notice of termination. A backup file can be kept in our server for as long as 3 months, but not guaranteed, after termination to restore it in case of account reactivation only. However, we will not be responsible for retaining any of your data after termination.

Termination by Us: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our App Lease Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, a breach of the Terms of Service.
