Everything SELBUK can do for your business
Search in your own words or open a section. Each answer says whether it works on the web, in the app or both.
App, web and support13
iPhone, iPad and Android app
Yes. SELBUK has an app for iPhone, iPad and Android, so your team can sell, invoice, collect and check inventory on the road. Download it free from the App Store or Google Play and start on the free plan, no card needed.
Open this topic’s page →Web version for your computer
Yes. SELBUK has a web version you open in your computer’s browser, with account administration (users, permissions and settings) and the most complete reports; working offline, the barcode scanner, customer signatures and the thermal printer are app features. It comes with the paid plans (the Free plan is app only) and, if your account is new, you can try it free for 7 days, once.
Open this topic’s page →Work without internet
Yes, in the app. Your reps take orders, invoice, collect and even capture the customer’s signature with no signal; everything uploads to the cloud on its own once the connection is back. The web version, on the other hand, always works online.
Open this topic’s page →Team phones and their sync
From the web you see which phone each user has, when it last synced and, hour by hour, how many records it sent and received. If a phone is lost or changes hands, you unlink it and it signs out on its next sync without deleting any data. You also choose how many years of history go down to the phones.
Open this topic’s page →Four languages: Spanish, English, French and Portuguese
SELBUK works in Spanish, English, French and Portuguese. On the web each user picks their language and finds it the same when they sign in again; in the app it’s chosen in Settings (or follows the phone’s language) and applies only to that phone. Your customers’ ordering portal can open in Spanish, English or both.
Open this topic’s page →Barcode scanner with the camera
Yes. In the app you scan the barcode with the phone’s camera to find a product, add it to a sale or fill it in on the product form. It reads the most common formats (EAN, UPC, Code 128 and QR).
Open this topic’s page →Thermal printer receipts
Yes. From the app you print the ticket for an order, invoice, estimate or receipt on a thermal printer over Bluetooth or the network (WiFi), on 58 or 80 mm paper, and you choose what shows. On the web you print the PDF from the browser.
Open this topic’s page →Customer signature on the phone
Yes. In the app, when you close an estimate, order or invoice, the customer signs on the screen with a finger, even with no signal. The signature appears on the document’s PDF along with their name.
Open this topic’s page →Sign in with fingerprint or face
Yes. You can sign in with your device’s fingerprint or face instead of typing the password, in the app and in compatible browsers. You can also have the device remember your session.
Open this topic’s page →Alerts and notifications
Yes. SELBUK sends alerts about invoices, sales, purchases, routes, activities and calendar as phone notifications and in the web’s bell; route and activity alerts need the CRM add-on. On the web you choose which alerts go out, who gets them and whether each user can adjust their own, and in the app each user adjusts theirs.
Open this topic’s page →Help manual and assistant
Yes. Inside the web and the app there’s a help manual you search in your own words, with step-by-step topics; a few topics also include a short video. Every user can use it, including on the Free plan from the app.
Open this topic’s page →Support in Spanish and English
Yes. You get support in Spanish and English by email from the About screen, and on WhatsApp on the plans that include it. From the app you can also send a screenshot of the screen where the problem is.
Open this topic’s page →For distributors, wholesalers and retailers
SELBUK is built for distributors, wholesalers and shops that sell with a team on the road: it brings sales, invoicing, collections, inventory and customers into one platform, with an app and a web version, and you can add an ordering portal for your customers. You can start free on your phone and grow at your own pace.
Open this topic’s page →Sales, orders and invoices13
Estimates and quotes
Yes. You build quotes in a few taps (customer, products and review), share them as a PDF and update their status. When the customer accepts, you turn it into an order without retyping anything.
Open this topic’s page →Order taking and sales orders
Yes. Your team takes orders from the phone or the web by choosing customer, variant, price list and quantity; the order builds with taps and gets the right price and tax. Then you ship it, invoice it and collect it from the same document.
Open this topic’s page →Invoicing
Yes. You create invoices from the app or the web, from scratch or by converting an order, and they stay linked to their order and quote. You share them as a PDF and record full or partial payment on the same invoice.
Open this topic’s page →From estimate to payment in one flow
Yes. Quote, order, invoice and payment run in one flow: each step turns into the next and the documents stay linked. On the web you find any of them by typing the other’s number, and the list shows the related order or invoice.
Open this topic’s page →Returns and credit notes
Yes. You create the return against an invoice or a shipped order: pick quantities and reason, decide how much goes back to inventory, and the credit note is issued. The credit shows in the customer’s balance and statement.
Open this topic’s page →Shipping and backorders
Yes. You record the dispatch of each order or invoice, in full or in parts, and what’s missing stays visible as pending dispatch. On the web, if a balance will never be delivered you close it with a reason, and if you don’t dispatch (the customer takes the goods) you can turn dispatch off.
Open this topic’s page →Void and fix documents
Yes. You void an invoice or order without deleting it and the trail stays (in the app you void invoices). On the web a voided order can be restored; a voided invoice can’t, so you make a new one. You can edit documents that have no payments yet, and permanent deletion comes turned off and the administrator turns it on per document type.
Open this topic’s page →Discounts and promotions
Yes. You can give a customer a standing discount, apply a discount to a line or to the whole document, and exclude products from discounts. “Buy X get Y” promotions are not applied automatically in the sale yet.
Open this topic’s page →Taxes by customer or by product
Yes. Tax is calculated automatically on estimates, orders and invoices using one of three modes: a global rate, per customer (for example, tax-exempt customers) or per product. You also get a report of how much tax you collected and paid in the period.
Open this topic’s page →Branded PDFs with your logo
Yes. Your quotes, orders and invoices come out as a PDF with your logo, your details and your signature, on the web and in the app: you choose among four templates, the color, the font, the columns and a fixed footer note (your returns policy, for example). On the web the payment receipt and the purchase also carry your logo; in the app the receipt has a fixed design.
Open this topic’s page →Send documents by WhatsApp or email
Yes. In the app each quote, order, invoice or receipt is shared as a PDF by WhatsApp, by email or with the phone’s share menu. On the web the Share button sends the PDF where the browser allows it, and WhatsApp opens the chat with a message. From the customer’s profile you can also call them or message them on WhatsApp.
Open this topic’s page →Numbering per sales rep
Yes. Quotes, orders and invoices from a rep with their own code are numbered per rep (the digits before the dash say who made it), and a number is never reused, not even a voided document’s. You set the prefix and the next number for each document type.
Open this topic’s page →Selling on credit: terms and limit
Yes. Each customer keeps their payment terms (cash or net 15 to 90 days) and their credit limit; when you invoice you pick the terms and the due date is calculated for you. In the app it warns you if the order goes over the limit, and what they owe you shows on their profile and statement.
Open this topic’s page →Customers3
360° customer profile
Yes. Each customer has a 360° profile with their summary, balance, documents, payments and activity, and from there you start an order, a quote or a payment (and on the web, with the CRM add-on, a visit). You can also call them, message them on WhatsApp or email them, and open directions on the map.
Open this topic’s page →Customers assigned to each rep
Yes. Each customer is assigned to a rep, and if the rep’s role is limited to “their own” data, that rep only sees and sells to their customers and to those with no rep. The administrator sees everyone and can reassign them.
Open this topic’s page →Customer reports: inactive and concentration
Yes. Customer reports tell you who you’re losing (inactive), who owes you and since when, and how much your sales depend on a few customers, and they download as CSV. On the web the customer list can also be filtered and exported to CSV.
Open this topic’s page →Payments and receivables5
Record payments and partial payments
Yes. You record a customer’s payment with its method (cash, check, transfer…) and apply it to one or several invoices; a partial payment leaves the balance open. Each payment produces a PDF receipt and appears in the received payments list.
Open this topic’s page →Receivables and aging
Yes, with a paid plan. Receivables sorts open balances by age according to their due date, by customer or by invoice, and switches between what your customers owe you and what you owe your suppliers. From there you record a payment and, on the web, open the statement.
Open this topic’s page →Overdue invoices and late customers
Yes, with a paid plan. Home shows what’s overdue and what’s coming due, plus a panel with the customers who owe you the most overdue money. On the web the overdue customers report opens each one’s statement, and you can get overdue invoice alerts.
Open this topic’s page →Customer statement
Yes. On the web you get, for each customer and date range, a statement with the opening balance, every invoice, payment and credit note with its running balance, and the closing balance, and you export it to PDF or CSV. In the app you share the statement of what’s open as a PDF and download the detail by dates as CSV.
Open this topic’s page →Received payments and receipts
Yes. The received payments list gathers everything collected, filtered by date, customer and rep, and each row opens its receipt to share it. The home screen also compares sales against collections for the last 7 days.
Open this topic’s page →Inventory7
Real-time inventory control
Yes. You know in real time how much you have of each product: on hand, committed to unshipped orders, available and incoming. Inventory moves on its own with every sale, shipment, received purchase and return.
Open this topic’s page →Stock ledger: movement history
Yes, on the web. Each product’s stock ledger (Kardex) lists, in order, every sale, purchase, return, dispatch, adjustment and void with the balance left afterwards. It’s where you see where each quantity came from when inventory doesn’t add up.
Open this topic’s page →Low stock and reorder point
Yes. You set each product’s minimum (reorder point) and SELBUK flags it “Low stock” when available stock reaches it, and “Out of stock” when nothing is left. The home screen shows what needs restocking and there’s a reorder report.
Open this topic’s page →Inventory reports and valuation
Yes. You get six inventory reports: stock and valuation, low stock and reorder, in transit, dead stock, ABC by revenue, and committed versus available. Each one downloads in full to PDF or CSV.
Open this topic’s page →Stock counts and bulk changes with Excel (CSV)
Yes, on the web. You download the products or prices file, edit it in Excel and upload it back: before saving you see what changes and which rows weren’t recognized. The inventory count is saved as a single adjustment with its movements in the stock ledger.
Open this topic’s page →Inventory by warehouse or truck (coming soon)
Coming soon. We’re finishing inventory by warehouse: each warehouse, branch or truck with its own stock and its own manager, transfers to load the trucks and a Damaged warehouse for broken goods. Today SELBUK keeps one inventory for the whole business; we’ll announce it here when it’s available.
Open this topic’s page →Businesses that don’t track inventory
Yes. If your business doesn’t track stock, you turn off “Manage inventory” in the product settings and availability, stock and shipping are hidden from the sales screens. You keep selling, invoicing and collecting the same way.
Open this topic’s page →Products and catalog6
Product catalog with photos
Yes. Each product has its record with code, barcode, unit, category, cost, prices and stock, and you see it the same in the app and on the web. Photos depend on the plan: 1 per product on Basic and up to 5 on the other paid plans (the Free plan has no photos). You can even create a product in the middle of a sale without losing what you have.
Open this topic’s page →Variants (size, color, pack)
Yes. You group the same item into its variants along two axes you name (for example Size × Color), and each one keeps its own code, price and stock. When selling you pick the combination in one tap, and documents can show units per case.
Open this topic’s page →Categories and subcategories
Yes. You organize the catalog into categories and subcategories, and on the web, when you delete one, it offers to reassign its products. Sales can be viewed by category in the reports and on Home.
Open this topic’s page →Price lists per customer
Yes. Each product has up to five price lists (A to E) and each customer is assigned theirs, so the order comes out at their price. When selling you can switch the list or set a special price on a line.
Open this topic’s page →PDF catalog to share
Yes. You generate a PDF catalog, as a list or a photo grid, choose which products go in and share it, on the web or in the app; the setup is saved so you can repeat it.
Open this topic’s page →Custom product fields
Yes. Each product has up to five custom fields and you name them (for example Brand, Model or Origin) for the whole account.
Open this topic’s page →Purchasing and suppliers3
Purchases and purchase orders
Yes. You create purchase orders for your suppliers and turn them into a supplier bill when they arrive, or record the bill directly. On the web the payment terms and due date come from the supplier, and a purchase you started is saved automatically as a draft to finish later.
Open this topic’s page →Receive goods from a purchase
Yes. You record how many units of each line arrived with “Receive”; partial receipts leave the rest pending and in transit. Only what’s received adds to your stock.
Open this topic’s page →Suppliers and supplier payments
Yes. Each supplier has a 360° profile with their purchases, payments and balance, and from there you record the payment of an open bill. On the web you can also start a purchase order from the profile, and supplier reports tell you who you depend on, who you owe and who you stopped buying from.
Open this topic’s page →Expenses3
Expense tracking
Yes. In Expenses you record money going out that isn’t merchandise (rent, payroll, utilities, fuel, commissions, advertising, taxes), each in a category you create. The cards show you the period’s spending, what’s left to pay and what’s overdue.
Open this topic’s page →Payable and approved expenses
Yes. Once you turn it on in the Expenses settings, you can require approval before an expense counts, leave it payable with a due date and record its full or partial payment. What it doesn’t do yet is record a monthly repeating expense on its own: you record that one each time.
Open this topic’s page →Income statement and expense reports
Yes. Expense reports include an income statement, spending by category, by payee, month by month and payments, with charts and CSV. That way you see your real profit, not just gross margin.
Open this topic’s page →Reports5
Custom reports by describing them
Yes, on the web with the CRM add-on. You describe the report you need in your own words, tick the data, periods and charts you want, and it’s built once; after that you open it, change its selectors and export it to PDF or CSV at no extra cost. Building it uses AI credits, charged by usage with a free minimum.
Open this topic’s page →Home dashboard with your numbers
Yes. The home screen shows on one page what you’re owed, what’s overdue, sales for the period you choose, 7-day sales versus collections and a breakdown by category, customer or rep. A “Today’s priorities” board takes you straight to what needs attention, and you choose which cards to show.
Open this topic’s page →Sales reports
Yes. The period’s sales reports bring a summary of revenue, subtotal and tax, and tabs by customer, by rep, by product (best sellers) and by category, and you decide whether they count invoices, orders or both. On the web each one exports to PDF or CSV; in the app all export to CSV and some to PDF as well.
Open this topic’s page →Tax collected and paid report
Yes. The tax report adds up, document by document, the tax you collected in the period (invoices minus returns) and, under Purchases, the tax you paid suppliers. It downloads to CSV or PDF for your accountant.
Open this topic’s page →Export to Excel (CSV) and PDF
Yes. On the web the sales, customer, product and expense lists export to CSV (it opens in Excel), and reports to CSV and most of them to PDF as well. In the app you export the reports, not the lists. And if another system needs to read your data automatically, there’s the read-only integration API.
Open this topic’s page →Routes, visits and CRM7
Sales rep routes
Yes. With the CRM add-on you plan each rep’s day stop by stop, reorder the stops and send them to Google Maps in the order you set. At each stop the rep checks in, takes the order, collects and leaves notes.
Open this topic’s page →Customer visits and follow-up
Yes. With the CRM add-on you schedule visits with a date, reason and rep, and you see who was visited, who wasn’t and what came out of each visit. The rep checks in, and a visit can be skipped or, in the app, moved to another day.
Open this topic’s page →Visits and activities calendar
Yes. With the CRM add-on you see a rep’s visits in a week or month calendar, color-coded by status, and the team’s activities in their own calendar. On the web you tap an empty slot and schedule a new visit or activity right there.
Open this topic’s page →Team activities and tasks
Yes. With the CRM add-on each person has a daily agenda with their activities and tasks, and you see how many are completed, pending and overdue. You reassign, reschedule or mark them done, and a live feed shows visits, payments and invoices as they happen.
Open this topic’s page →Sales goals per rep
Yes. From the home screen you set each rep monthly or weekly sales goals in money and, with the CRM add-on, visit goals too. SELBUK flags anyone who is behind the pace expected for today.
Open this topic’s page →See everything by rep
Yes. On the web you pick a rep in the header selector and the lists, Home and reports recalculate for that rep only; the choice stays as you move between screens, and inventory and catalog, which belong to the whole business, say so. In the app you filter by rep in each list.
Open this topic’s page →Reorder: what to restock and who to offer it to
Yes, on the web with the CRM add-on. Reorder uses rules to work out what to restock before you run out, who to offer overstock to, which customers are due to buy again and what to cross-sell; AI only proposes adjustments to those rules and you decide whether to save them. It only suggests: you create the order.
Open this topic’s page →Users, permissions and settings3
Multiple users, roles and permissions
Yes. Each person on your team signs in with their own user and role, and in the web’s permissions matrix you decide which screens and actions they get and whether they see all data or only their own; permissions apply the same in the app. A grayed-out button tells anyone without permission why they can’t use it and how to enable it.
Open this topic’s page →Hide cost and margin from reps
Yes. Cost, margin and profit only reach people who have the “Product cost” permission in their role. Without it, the server doesn’t send them the cost, and it doesn’t show in the app or in reports.
Open this topic’s page →Decimals, time zone and company details
You choose 0 to 4 decimals for prices and totals (on the web and in the app), and on the web the time zone your documents are dated with. In My account, on the web, you save your business’s name, phones, address, logo and signature, which appear on your documents and emails.
Open this topic’s page →B2B ordering portal6
Ordering portal for your customers (B2B)
Yes. With the B2B Portal your customers log into an online store with your catalog and their prices, place orders and request quotes any time, and see their history. Every order lands straight in your CRM, ready to review, ship and invoice.
Open this topic’s page →The portal shows your real prices and stock
Yes. The portal reads your catalog, prices and stock from your CRM in real time, and each signed-in customer sees their own price list. You decide whether out-of-stock products can be ordered, and you can hide prices until sign-in and hide out-of-stock, discontinued or photo-less products.
Open this topic’s page →Portal with your brand and domain
Yes. The portal can run on a SELBUK address or on your own domain (a separate add-on, with no free trial), with your banner, your contact details, your About us and Terms pages, and a WhatsApp button. The store can open in Spanish, English or both.
Open this topic’s page →Your customers’ access to the portal
You turn on “Portal access” on the customer’s profile and send them an invitation link to create their password. You can keep the store open to everyone or limit it to registered customers, approve people who sign up on their own and block access whenever you want.
Open this topic’s page →Portal orders land in the CRM
Each portal order and quote lands in your CRM on its own, marked as from the portal, and alerts you with a counter and the bell. On the web you review it line by line, decide how much you fill and what happens to what’s missing, then dispatch and invoice it like any other.
Open this topic’s page →Take payments in the portal with PayPal
Yes. In the store you can add PayPal buttons to the cart: PayPal confirms the charge and the order comes in on its own. You can also use the classic button with your email, a paypal.me link or manual payment, in which case the payment is left to confirm.
Open this topic’s page →Integrations5
Integration API (read-only)
Yes, read-only. An external system (ERP, accounting, a dashboard or a store) can automatically read your products, customers, suppliers, invoices, orders and estimates; the spec for the developer downloads as a PDF and the key is requested from SELBUK. The API doesn’t create or change data.
Open this topic’s page →Does it connect to Shopify, WooCommerce or QuickBooks?
Today SELBUK has no direct connection to Shopify, WooCommerce or QuickBooks. Another system can read your data through the read-only API, but someone has to build that connection; if you want to sell online with your catalog, SELBUK’s own store is the B2B Portal. Write to us and we’ll tell you what’s possible in your case.
Open this topic’s page →E-invoicing
For now SELBUK’s e-invoicing is for the Dominican Republic (e-CF with the DGII): you add it as an add-on and set it up on the web with your tax details, digital certificate and e-NCF sequences; the SELBUK team walks you through until you’re authorized. It isn’t available for other countries yet.
Open this topic’s page →Referral program: earn 50 dollars
Yes. You earn 50 dollars for each business that joins SELBUK through your link, pays its first invoice and stays 30 days on a paid plan. If you’re a customer, the credit is applied manually to your next charge; if not, it’s paid by bank transfer.
Open this topic’s page →Does it replace my accounting software?
SELBUK isn’t accounting or payroll software: it’s your business’s sales, collections, inventory and customer system. Your accountant can use the tax report, the expense profit and loss, the statements and the CSV exports (they open in Excel), and their system can read your data with the read-only API.
Open this topic’s page →Plans and pricing6
Free plan, no card, no expiry
Yes. The Free plan never expires and needs no card: it runs only in the app (iPhone, iPad and Android) with 1 user, 20 customers, 20 products and 20 documents a month, without the web version or receivables. When you need more, you move to a paid plan without losing your data.
Open this topic’s page →7 free days for new accounts
Yes. New accounts get 7 free days, once, to use the full SELBUK on their computer with the plan they choose. Without a card, when they end you go back to the Free plan on your own and nothing is charged; with a card, the first charge comes when the 7 days end and, if you cancel before then, you don’t pay. Separately, the CRM, the Portal on a SELBUK address and extra users come with 30 free days the first time you turn them on, and there are no other trials.
Open this topic’s page →Pricing and plans
Paid plans differ in how many users, customers and products they include and in photos per product, and are billed monthly or yearly; current prices are in the Plans section of this page, and “Compare plans” shows what each one includes. You can start free on your phone and if your account is new, try the paid plan you choose free for 7 days, once.
Open this topic’s page →What the CRM add-on includes
The CRM add-on adds Routes and Visits and Activities and Tasks (on the web and in the app), plus Reorder and Custom Reports (on the web; the reports use AI credits). It’s priced per user and comes with 30 days free the first time. Sales, invoicing, collections and inventory work without it.
Open this topic’s page →Add-ons with 30 days free
On top of your paid plan you can add the CRM, the B2B Portal (on a SELBUK address or your own domain), extra users, the CounterPoint connection and e-invoicing (Dominican Republic). The CRM, the Portal on a SELBUK address and extra users come with 30 days free the first time you add them. Additional warehouses are coming soon.
Open this topic’s page →Change plans or cancel
There are no long-term contracts: you change plans or add and remove services whenever you want and the change applies the same day. If you go back to the Free plan or close the account, your data is kept; what you already paid isn’t refunded.
Open this topic’s page →We couldn't find that yet. You may be phrasing it differently, or SELBUK doesn't do it yet.
